Internal Medicine

Our office offers diagnostic imaging which includes the use of radiography (x-rays) and ultrasonography to obtain more information with minimal risk to the patient. They are considered non-invasive diagnostic techniques that provide more information which cannot be determined simply on physical examination or bloodwork alone. In addition, information about any abnormalities identified can be obtained by using the imaging techniques to guide sampling procedures such as fine needle aspirates and/or biopsies. All of the information obtained can help the doctor reach a diagnosis and also aids in determining the next steps when managing a patient’s issue.
